7:30pm – Cynthia Breckenridge w/ Reckless Blooms – Cynthia Breckenridge is a singer and multi-instrumentalist who began her music career as a classically-trained soprano, most notably performing at Symphony Hall and Ravinia as a member of the Chicago Chorale. After a brief hiatus, she discovered her true calling was rock ‘n’ roll and her wide-ranging vocal talents can now be heard covering everything from Joni Mitchell to Led Zeppelin. She is the frontwoman for Knucklehead and Albatross: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac (formerly Breckenridge & Company) and can also be seen singing with John Mead’s True Believers. As a member of Reckless Blooms, she joins powerhouse vocalist—and her “sister-in-song”—Kate Staiger as well as the hardest-working guitarist in Chicago, Chris Corsale, to perform an eclectic mix of harmony-rich, soulful, acoustic covers.

9:30 – John Mead is a working guitarist, singer, and songwriter—plus an experienced ensemble and private-lesson teacher—rooted in rock, soul, funk, and R&B traditions.
