7:30 – Jacolyn Parker is a Chicago-based alt-folk singer-songwriter whose music leans dreamy, dark, and emotionally raw. Inspired by artists like Angel Olsen, Chelsea Wolfe, Emma Ruth Rundle, and Grouper, she writes songs that move through yearning, grief, anger, and loss with an intimate, haunting feel. Parker has been active around the Chicago scene and is currently working on her first official EP, If we both got rabies, you’d have to put me down first.

8:30 – Heat Lightning is a soft rock band based between Chicago and New York City. The band features Devin, Fletcher, and Maggie, and their sound leans smooth, melodic, and easygoing, with a warm indie-pop/soft-rock feel. Still a newer project online, Heat Lightning brings a relaxed but polished energy that should fit well on intimate Chicago bills and songwriter-friendly rock lineups.
