7:30pm – Tall Grass Captains is a long-running Midwest psychedelic power-pop/rock project led by Mark Mattson, whose songwriting blends catchy guitars, complex lyrics, folk-rock color, and big Midwest soul. Their current five-piece lineup adds original drummer Craig Swafford, guitarist Chad Wiggins, keyboardist/vocalist Lynn Batalden, and bassist Anthony Del Fiacco, pushing the band into a wider, more expansive psych-rock sound. With releases like Out Behind the Void, Spells of Broken Worlds, and In the Resistance, Tall Grass Captains bring melodic rock, lyrical depth, and trippy guitar-driven energy to the stage.

10:30pm – L’Bartones are a four-piece band of seasoned Chicago musicians playing danceable roots rock for “old souls and snappy dressers.” Their sound mixes upbeat Americana, country, soul, classic rock, and old-school roots rock, with both covers and originals worked into the set.
