8:00 – Black Cat Heart Attack are straight-up Chicago rock & roll—loud, hooky, and unapologetic (“nothing more, nothing less”). They’ve been steadily releasing punchy originals, with recent records like the A Rough Tongue EP (2024) and the newest EP Static Panic out now.

9:00 – Man’s Body – Man’s Body is simply Chicago’s greatest band. The gestalt-rock combo’s last album, New Chroma, was featured on NPR’s Sound Opinions and Mike Watt’s Live From Pedro. Led by singer/LA-boy Greg Franco (Rough Church) and guitarist/Chicagoan J. Niimi (Ashtray Boy/Aden/etc.), they perform live as a highly combustible five-piece. Tonight they unveil their new EP, For All the Jailhouse Chess Masters: a 12” 45 in a limited edition of 100 numbered copies. The single, “American Firesale”, is now streaming everywhere, with a video (via YouTube) by the director of Beck’s “Loser”.

10:00 – Lex Alley Project are an alt-rock outfit out of Des Plaines, IL with a self-described “sad dad band for well adjusted adults” vibe—melodic, punchy songs built for head-nodding singalongs. They’ve released the album Lights on Lee Street and continue dropping new tracks and show dates. https://www.facebook.com/LexAlleyProject
11:00 – Mookie Terremoto – Milwaukee’s own Mookie Terremoto blend gritty rock ’n’ roll with a soulful edge—hook-forward, high-energy songs with garage/psych/classic-rock swagger. They’ve been rolling out a multi-part EP series, with their latest release Side D out now. https://www.facebook.com/mookieterremoto
