Last year was an absolute blast — even in 95-degree heat. This year we’re running it back and hoping for a little less sun and a lot more rock. Big Angry Fish returns and they’re bringing Dave Suh & The Dirty Wings and The Cells with them for a full afternoon of loud guitars and fried fish.

Dave Suh & The Dirty Wings blend grunge grit with Americana soul, crafting songs that feel weathered but defiant. Big Angry Fish has been a Chicago underground staple for decades, delivering sharp, melodic guitar rock that blends power pop hooks, shoegaze haze, alt-country textures, and unapologetic basement-born swagger. They write smart, slightly off-kilter songs with big choruses and buzzing amps — the kind of band that makes you want to turn it up and argue about your favorite track later.

The Cells have been playing loud, crunchy, catchy and hook-laden rock since the Mid 90s and shared many bills with Big Angry Fish over the years. Some of Chicago’s finest rock musicians have been in and out of the band over the decades. This fish fry show breaks a long hiatus and will feature bassist Johnny Furman, drummer Randy Payne, and guitarist/singers Pat McIntyre, Dave Suh and Cory Hance. Bring your ear plugs for this high volume rock family reunion!
